Anyone have leads or hands on a truck hydroboost hydraulic clutch pedal setup? I’ve been trying to find one local and just haven’t came up with much. eBay wants an arm and a leg.

Located in south Texas.

I got mine on ebay, they are tough to find. The hydraulic clutch was 85 and later. I think the hydroboost was mostly on the 1 ton trucks. With regular square pickups ending in 87 you don't have a lot of choices for donors. 1 ton 4x4's are hard to find period. Most of the suburbans and blazers in the later years were automatics and the crew cabs don't get parted as much. Look for a beat up 1 ton 2wd work truck, they can be cheap and get parted out. Good luck with your search, you will find the parts but they wont be very cheap.

If you can't find factory pedals, you should be able to buy a stand-alone clutch setup from Wilwood. Just match the piston diameter and it will work with the factory slave. The brake pedal mounting is the same, you can reuse your automatic pedal by cutting the left side off (it's already centered properly for the manual setup). The wide brake pedal actually fits with the factory clutch pedal without any mods, but it looks a little funny. ;)

Side note, I have a spare squarebody hydro bell housing if you're interested.

No worries, this is for an nv4500 setup so I have that all already

Thanks for the heads up. I shot him a text to see if he’d ship and how much it would end up running.

Worst case I have a spare set I've been hoarding. I want an arm and a leg though.

few sets I have seen and 1 I owned had both holes in the brake bar for vac and hydro brakes .

mine was vac and I cut apart my old brake pedal and took the pin and welded it in the other hole and made it a 2 pin unit for vac or hydro . even extended the safety plate tab .

so check that out when looking if you find a vac brake setup .

10-4, thanks for the info. Its killing me to not be working on the truck, so trying to absorb everything I can.

It's worth mentioning that one of my pedal sets also had two holes like you describe, but my extra hole was not in the correct spot for hydroboost. I'm not sure how much difference it would have made, but I wound up not using it because of this (I cut down my old automatic brake pedal). If you look up @Blue85's hydroboost info thread (it's a sticky) it covers the pedal types and proper measurements.
