Hydro clutch resevoir

I'm just getting the last of the parts i need together for my hydro clutch stuff. I'm still missing a resevoir and hose that supply the clutch master.

Is this a dealer only item?

Do the new body style pick-ups use a similar resevoir? I know of several yards with 88 and newer pick-ups, but almost nothing around here for the 73-87.

Also, the heat sheild for the clutch slave...again dealer only?

LMC Truck carries all of those parts. I imagine GM as well.

To me the S10 stuff looked very similar, and much more common in 'yards.

The S-10 stuff I saw was either cable clutch (early years) or had a master with attached resevoir. Looks like up to about 95 or so the new body style Chev's had a similar master and remote resevoir...however none at the yard I went to had the resevoir still on the truck.

I did find a very common remote resevoir which looks like it'll work just fine. It's off of a '95 Ranger. Looks to be similar in size and design as the GM part I was looking for. The guy at the yard let me have it for nothing...so that's a bonus.

i got one hear. its just a remote unit with hose. so ya that ranger unit would work if you realy want to curse your chevy with ford parts.

i used a res. off of a honda civic... its got a nice little bracket too...

Yeah, the Ranger piece also has a built in bracket...
