Attempted to finish up the body mounts today, but I guess my floor jack doesn't want to cooperate..............................

Symptoms, it will go up, but won't come back down. Well, it did come back down after I cracked open the cap to the oil resevoir and stood on the darn thing, but it came down slooooooooooowly. Also, the handle is hard to turn and doesn't seem to lock like normal........................................

So tell me what I should do and what to look for before I buy another jack.

I can't help ya with what to do .

But I can say that I am impressed with the Lowes house brand jacks " Kobalt " . I got a nice big floor jack because its intrest free for a year , and it was 80 bucks with two jackstands , and the damn thing rocks . Best jack I've owned ( 3rd one ) .

I put a easier to remove bolt in place of the handle bolt so I remove quickly and use the handle as a breaker bar too

Mine came with a "rebuild kit" which wasn't anything but new o-rings.

the fix : you need more lift.
