I picked up one of those tools that thread into the pilot bushing and press it out with a grease gun. What a great tool! I had the bushing out in about 10 minutes.
they are sweet. Dad showed me long ago, pack the hole of the bushing with grease quick, use a clutch alignment tool(with the ring on the back snapped off), and give it a few whacks with a hammer. Instant removal with the same principal.
