Hydro steering lines ?\'s

What lenght did you get, I know where you put the ram makes everyone different but just wanted a general idea. since using a tape measure to figure it out is rather hard, I need a tailors tape so it would be easier. Also on the ram does it matter if it has female clevis's with pins for attaching it or does it need to be like WTO's and have a rod end type of mount.

Mine are coming from the alum. caps and they are 36 inches long.

2 ways to do that nicely

1 is to get reuseable ends and assemble the hose yourself

2 is to get one end crimped on, then test fit the line and mark exactly the length and orientation you need. return to get the other end crimped on

option 1 is the best way as then you can field repair your own hose

I would imagine that the clevis type end with pin would probably have a little slop too it which would eventually cause wear and more slop. I would go with the heim ends if I could but if not I think you could at least try the other way, that has you doing stuff twice though.
