Hydro to mechanical clutch

I have the '85 K30, originally had sm465/np205, PO put in TH400/NP208.
Looks like the clutch pedal was just removed, not the whole brake/clutch bracket. It was a hydro clutch.

I'm not having any luck finding a hydro clutch sm465/np205 combo, but did find a mechanical clutch.

How much trouble would it be installing the mechanical clutch linkage instead of the stock hydro clutch linkage??

And do I have to switch back to a manual steering column?

I've never run a chrevy manual so c an't help you there but on the steering column you could just pop the shifter pin out on the column and take the linkage out the bottom and leave it or swap in a manual column from the same vintage truck. I beleive but am not sure there is a split somewhere in the late 70s on column parts and wiring compatability.
