Hydroboost Brakes

How easily should the calipers slide on the brackets?
I removed the calipers, then reinstalled them with out pads to see if it would slide freely. I was able to slide the driver side by lightly tugging on and then pushing it back, I had to use a rubber mallet on the passenger side to move it back and forth.

There is just over 1/4" inch of travel in the brake peddle before it hits the rod.

I flushed the system out again, using 2, 32 oz bottles of fluid. The fluid comes out just as it goes in, nice and clean.

Thank you,
Ed

You might have a defective caliper.
I called it from the beginning.
