I bought a hydroboost from Oreilly - fit my truck perfectly. However, since I'm converting it I do not have the spring, retainer, or the rod from a core. does anybody have any idea where to get these parts?

I've read that but it seems like it fit perfectly on my k5. I guess if the pin point is different it would change the stroke length?

I guess I'll unfortunately end up at the junk yard. My local yard will not let me pick those parts out of the assembly - they'll charge me for the entire thing. Maybe I can turn it into oreilly for a core fee :)

Length and angle, which seems to me like it'd be moving off-bore and wear out your newly rebuilt booster unit. Bad juju.

I took a bunch of measurements of the two systems. If you don't want to source a new pedal, it might be possible to move the pin up or build a new one if you weld. You would also need to mod or fab the bracket that pushes on the brake pedal switch(es).

Just find some one parting a diesel and get what you need. That way everything bolts up like it would from the factory
