While putting my truck back together after installing hydroboost, I noticed that the bracket that is used with the brake light switch would no longer fit the pedal. Of course with me being a stubborn guy, I didnt want to hack up the bracket to much, in case I ever needed to reverse engineer my efforts. I grabbed a scrap piece of metal, drilled a hole, and spot welded it on. Works like a champ.

Ohh yeah, got some new parts in this week :-)

I bought them during the 75% off Weld Wheels sale at 4 Wheel Parts. Actually, I bought two sets.... In case I ever build something else :-)

Pics of brake lines

Some pics of how I ran my SS brake lines. You'll notice that I moved the factory and aftermarket prop. valve underneath the MC. It made running new lines a little easier. I probably should have painted the MC before installing it :-)

Looks good. never would have thought to mount the prop valve there, but then again on my truck, if it's stock and works, I probably won't mess with it haha.

I moved it because the steering box brace was making it a pain in the ass to fabricate the new SS lines. It was moved to make things easier... I'm lazy.

this is an old thread but it's perfect for a couple questions I have.

1) What is that TAN wire for that goes into the prop valve? Mine is cut, just wondering.

2) I'm looking to pull a hydroboost off a junkyard truck soon. I also have rear disc conversion with a new prop valve. Can I hard line the front brakes and prop valve the rears without a problem?

1) Tan with white tracer goes to the brake warning light.

Is the pivot point higher on the hydroboost pedal?
