I have a crew cab that has hydroboost and the power steering pump that's on the big block I installed in the CC was setup for a vacuum booster setup. Can I use this same pump for both duties?

I've only had one other truck that ran hydroboost and I never really knew what to look for then. Didn't have it long enough but do remember it had a reservoir relocator thing on the air filter housing :doah:

I would think it'd have to have the fluid up higher to work correctly but have no idea.

I was told I could just run the lines the way they were orignally hooked up and put a T into the return lines. I've already done this but I don't wanna mess anything up and have to replace it.

thanks in advance ;)

The extra reservoir on the factory hydroboost pumps is for more volume. Not sure if there will be an issue with not having the extra volume or not, but I do know that GM wouldn't of spent the extra money if if wasn't needed.

Yes, you should just be able to T the two returns lines together.
