Awhile back I started converting my power steering lines over to use AN fittings. I was looking to get the return line on the hydroboost switch over and I was wondering if anyone knows what size the fitting is that threads into the hydroboost. It's the one with the barbed fitting for the return hose indicated in the photo below.

IIRC, 1/8NPT aka 1/8-27. Pretty sure it's not inverted flare fittings like the pressure lines.

I was going to guess 1/4, but I thought it looked awful small.

Funny thing is, I've replaced the return fitting on the steering gear, and I can't find what I bought for that one either.

I've given up on pipe fitting sizes making sense, as 1/8" is not half the size of 1/4" :doah:

I thought the steering boxes use O-ring fittings with metric heads on them; I seem to recall 16mm and/or 18mm being required.

Good chance it is. I was going to get an adapter to increase the return flow but with the size of that port, I don't see where I can gain anything. Plus that return only flows when the brake is depressed. I think upgrading the size of the steering box will be more beneficial.
