the rod that goes from the brake pedal to the back of the hydroboost may have an eye on it that slides over a pin on the brake pedal, you will have to unhook it. the end of the rod "may" just fit into the end of the cylinder in the hydroboost,if it does it will let the hydroboost come off without disconnecting it, be sure to get it back in place when installing the new one if it does.
