i'm swapping the hydroboost on my k-30. there is four nuts that come off four studs on the firewall. that holds the unit on the firewall. thats all there is in the manual. aint there somethin on the other side i gotta undo????

hydroboost swap!?!?

the rod that goes from the brake pedal to the back of the hydroboost may have an eye on it that slides over a pin on the brake pedal, you will have to unhook it. the end of the rod "may" just fit into the end of the cylinder in the hydroboost,if it does it will let the hydroboost come off without disconnecting it, be sure to get it back in place when installing the new one if it does.

well, lets see. my k-30 is six different colors untill i paint it. my brothers is white but rusty. little brother is in az with his truck but i hear it looks BRAND new. dads is a dually flatbed 2wd but it looks pretty good. when i paint mine i will definately try to show a before and after shot. anyways, i got a better manual that showed everything i figured out there were two more nuts on the inside and i had to undo the pedal rod thing. stupid manuals, i'll swear half of the screw ups in shops are from someone guessing at something because the book doesnt show it good enough.
