I always ask for new not rebuilt.
I start with napa then autozone and O'Reilly and also rockauto.
I don't always find it available at any given store.

I checked with Rock Auto, Auto Zone, NAPA, O'Reilly, & Summit. No one had new except Summit $425.00. I learned from here to buy New. I had bad experience with rebuilt (Cardone) that's why I want New.
Found Vintage Speed Reaper, New $425.00, any one heard of them?

I was really disappointed when mine struck a leak in the cab after only about 4 miles.

Any other suggestions on where to buy new?

For that price it may be worth checking the dealers for new old stock

Just spoke to Vintage Speed Reaper, he talked to me about having to Stake the shaft, peddle side shaft. He said the shaft comes right out but I would need to make a puller.
I couldn't understand what he was talking about.

Does anyone know what he meant by Stacking the shaft? if so, could you explain to me how to do it?

Said they could send one with the shaft but I will have to adjust it by grinding until I get the right gap, I was hoping It would be a direct bolt in like the Cardone was.

Thank you,
Ed
