well i just had my blazer (stock) up to the passenger side headlight in a watery hole. it died and i tried cranking but itll only turn over once. possible hydrolock? starter? i think the battery is fine because all the electronics are workin.. what would be the best way to test to see what exactly my problem is. and if it is hydrolocked how would i go about fixin it? thnx guys!

pull all the plugs out and turn it over by hand. If it turns then, then crank it with the strater to slear the cylinders. and change all fluids.

make sure to get a couple tablespoons of Marvel in each cylinder after they're evacuated too...

If the engine hydro locked plan on a rebuild. Hydro locking an engine bends connecting rods and breaks pistons.

Hydrolocked usually means broken motor, which would need to be replaced or rebuilt.

so this morning i pulled out all the plugs dropped in some mystery oil. tried crankin it by hand but it wouldnt move. so i tried with the starter and it shot all the water it had right out. after a couple more turns put some more oil back in the cylinders changed the oil, which was suprisingly water free, put the plugs in and now shes back to normal. thnx guys for ur help!!
