Below, in green are instructions for a wire that I need to connect. Could someone tell me where I can find a wire to connect the Pin 3 wire too, from under the dash?

I think the purple wire that goes to the starter solenoid is the wire that the instructions are referring too, but I need to find a source from under the dash to connect too.

Pin 3 (Red/Blue Wire): Connect this wire to a 12V ‘START’ source. This wire must have +12 volts ONLY when the key is in the START (cranking) position. It must NOT have power when the ignition switch is in any other position. This is the circuit in your vehicle chassis harness that connects your ignition switch to the starter solenoid. This connection is used to tell the computer and the TFI module when the engine is being started, and will initiate a different strategy in the computer when voltage is applied.

Thank you,
Ed

Yes, the purplke wire from the ignition switch to the starter is what they want you to use.

Ok, but is there a wire source from onder the dash that I can use? I couldn't trace that purple wire under the dash.

Thanks again,

Ed

The purple wire comes from the ignition switch and goes to the starter solenoid.

under the dash or at the end of the wire on the solinoid where everyone else puts them is fine.

I need to find a source under the dash.

Would it be one of the wires connected to the neutral safety switch under the dash on the steering column?

Thanks,
Ed
