Looks installed to me.....!

What's left to do? :dunno:

:usaflag:

Cool, id like to see more pics of the intake and how the accessories fit within the engine compartment.

Lots of little stuff left. All hose clamps, steam vent line, air filter. Fan shroud, about 20 wire connections (batt power, key on, starter solonoid splice, TCC lockup switch (opposite of brake switch), brake swich, Tach wiring, cruise wiring, dash bezel, heat/AC hoses, glove box, glove box door, mount PCM, Pedal, TAC module, grind the Lokar shift linkage for the set screws, hood, hood latch and I'm sure a couple I have forgotten

Here is a link to some of the install. When I am done I will do a complete build write up with pictures and links and the mistakes I made so you don't have to make them!

Well I've put about 50 miles on it so far. The 5.3 4L60 combination really wake up the old Jimmy :) !!

I still have a couple of issues.

Bank 1 Lean code (possibly a vacuum leak, fuel pressure, or dirty MAF??)

I guess I cracked my heater core when changing the hoses to new. Drips a little on the passenger side.

My tach reads low. At first it didn't work so I added a pullup resistor and it now works. I need HP tuners or? to maybe change the tach output?

Still have cruise control to wire

I'll eventually get the AC working even though I will never have a top on.

I have about 1000 miles on the install now and am very happy with the results. everything works (there are a couple of things I may change but everything works). City driving while having fun with the pedal occasionally I got 15 mpg before I got it tuned. I would not hesitate to take this truck anywhere.

That's awesome, What kind of power does it put out? You do know its not fair to flaunt your 15 mpg when I'd be lucky if I'm getting 8mpg going downhill with a tail wind Ha Ha. looks like a great cruiser.

Stock power? It wasn't dyno tuned but Don from slowhawk performance did a street tune. He has it running pretty good. I guess about 260-275HP with similar or slightly more torque? No cats and free flowing exhaust probably helped a little, Removing torque management and getting rid of some of the factory lean conditions (emissions stuff). It does run real strong. I figure the next improvement will be the rear end. I don't think its going to last!

I bet I'll see close to 20 with cruise on at 70-75 MPH when I take it to an all chevy GMC truck show 100 miles away next weekend.

Your in progress pic looks good. Do you have any completed pics??

15mpg in town--very nice!! I have an S10 with a 4.3L that struggles to get that sometimes.

Yes I do but they are posted on another forum. I do have links in another post here somewhere?

I'll try to post more pics soon.
