Well I knew being overly-ambitious would catch up with me. My quarter panel was slighty rusty and I didn't like my patch job, so I removed it. The logic was I could undercoat everything in there and knock out rusting for a long time, and have a new panel. So far I have called my GM dealer, Sioux Plating, JC Whitney, Year One, and Ray Buck . I even tried obsolete Chevrolet, but the number didn't work. Nothing shows up anymore, or has been on back order for several months. Is there any place left, or do I have to get a junk yard one? I feel so stupid because I could have this thing painted by now.

Try LMC?
Is there a remanufactured parts/panels place in your area? We have one here called Certi-Fit, get all my body stuff there. But I'm in AZ

Chevy in my blood.

I see in your pic that the drivers side quarter is missing. I've got an aftermarket quarter that's in very good shape, but I'm in Colorado Springs. Looks like it's about 700 miles from Sioux City.

It's a great day to be alive...

Local place to me, but they ship all over the place. They have adds in the magazines also. Real good stuff. And not priced too bad either.

I'll just reply to myself here cause these are all very good suggestions and don't wanna single any one person. I thought about LMC, but everything seems way overpriced. I tried 73-87 Chevy parts, great page, but no one answers the phone. I've tried a few more since that last post, and certi-fit has something! I had to call a few locations to find it, but for $228 and the proximity of chicago, its looking good! Thanks a bunch if this works out.

There is a place in Indiana that sells them for about $270. I think theyre called Midwest Body panels. They are in Eaton, IN. I can get their phone # when I get home Sunday if you want it.

The Paddock is another source. $250 for a quarter panel.

I just met a guy who has a shop that only deals with 91 and earlier GM trucks. He has every original (and repro) part you could ever want. His name is Henrick. Phone: 818-846-0121, email: [email protected]. Website: www.gmtruckcenter.com

He also does mods, restores, etc., and has some cool stuff he's doing for interiors.

The shop is in Burbank, CA but I'm sure he'll ship if needed. Very nice guy.
