this is so true.
I was ranting yesterday on paying a $5 handling fee to Customs.
they charged me $5 for them having to collect $11 in tax from me.

perspective is an amazing thing

anyway I now have the tool to remove mushroomed glow plugs from a 6.2 Chev

And you need this tool why? Did you get a 6.2?

Rene

lil brother has an 80s chev with a 6.2 in addition to his 67 LeMans ragtop and his BMW 328 and his Bronco.
the LeMans is sweet the rest are beaters

I get to work on a variety just in his stable

If the 6.2 equipped truck is a beater ask him if he wants to sell it. I want to swap a 6.2 in my Jimmy, so i'm looking for a 6.2 equipped beater to pull all the necessary bits from.

After you use the glow plug tool, post in the diesel forum whether or not it works well. Is it the tool with the split, hinged nut? Was a little pricey for me so I used vise grips to break off the glowplug and remove it through the injector hole.

I will post or start new thread in Diesel forum.
never been in there, you sure you want me there? LOL

nope not the hinged one...
