only dodge/mopar product I've ever owned was an 83 ramcharger. had a lot of fun with that:D

I bought my first Dodge in Jan, never thought I would own one unless it had a Cummins in it. 04 Durango with only minor issues. The only thing I recommend is learn to "Dodge" everything, apparently if you don't everyone will hit it.

Yes, we have already 'wrecked' it twice, within 2 weeks of each other, although only one was our fault, the other was a lady backing into me when I was nearly out of my parking spot.

I hope that dont happen:doah: I like it. the 6 speed shifts wierd though. feels like a manual but doesnt shift when I think it should:dunno: even getting on it a little

The Durango has a 5 speed auto and it has taken some getting used to. Shift patterns are very odd, but man can it get up and go when I want it to.

It's also my fault because it certainly appears I am just not destined to have nice cars. :haha:

we'll see how good it does on gas:dunno: after we bought it it had a full tank and said 257 miles till empty. not much range there:rolleyes:

Good lookin DD

Dodge has never been one for the MPGs. Had a Caliber a few years ago, only like 21/24, and it was a 4 banger AWD. Think they're the last one's catching up, Ferd and Chevy has gotten their passenger cars in the higher mpg range the last few years.

Not that I ever will, but if I had to buy a commuter car, it'd probably be a Kia Optima. Those things are little beasts, and great mpg. My wife had an 06, pretty peppy, good mpg. And my buddy bought his wife a 2012 turbo, and that thing hauls ass, great mpg, and has all those nifty gadgets, and talks to him. And the prices are all reasonable.

we wanted a cruze, Ifrickin LOVED that thing. but chevy didnt have the right financing and incentives available to make it possible for us financialy.:dunno: so we went this route while we could still get something out of the trailblazer on trade. it was knocking and getting worse. plus a butt load of electrical problems started showing up. It had to go before it died.

Good looking car. Dodge interiors are nice. I love my Ram. Test drove a Dart and really liked it, but it was way too slow for me.

I'm in the market for a new car and the turbo Kia Optima is one I am really considering.

I like it so far:waytogo: nice car really. averaged 30.7 by the math on our last trip

Not bad. We get around 25mpg out of our current car (05 Mazda 6). It just isnt quite suited to rough ass Louisiana roads. Stiff suspension and hard seats. I'm hoping to get something more comfortable, smoother riding, more power, and 30+mpg.

this one did 30.7 on the way to st louis, Interstate all the way. but then around town for 2 days and small towns on the way home we averaged 26 for the whole trip

sucks horribly but useable:dunno: we just make sure the driver gets the one toward the front.

My Ram has the big center console and the cupholders are both on the passenger side. Mildly annoying but the Hemi more than makes up for it. :D

my tundra was that way. didnt bother me cause they were far enough forward.

Well what about gas mileage...
the buddy that talked me into a dodge says his new truck gets about 21
