I bought this 1975 K20 Suburban last week for $600. It has a 400/350/203 in it and it runs and drives. I've already started putting a 6" lift on it and bought some 9.00-16 (35") CO-OP Grip Spurs for it. I stuffed the tires on it before I started the lift. I'm waiting on the rear u-bolts to get here before I can finish the rear lift.

I keep thinking I need a Burb ... but then, I have a perfectly good sixpack I don't drive much as it costs me over fifty cents a mile to drive :(

And though you'd think people would be dumping gas guzzlers left and right, pre-'76 Burbs are hard to find here in CA (pre-smog, ya know :D )

I'm fighting with the idea of chopping the top off of it, but I want it to be safe for the kids to ride in the back seat. I don't have access to a tube bender to built a cage right now so I'll probably leave the top alone until I can build a cage.

I likes.

Looks like someone who knew a bit about painting military vehicles did that work. Doesn't look cheesy at all.

I think a chopped burb would look sick, ive never seen one myself but i can imagine it and that would look rad i say chop it up as soon as you can!

Thanks, but I'm pretty much done for now. I've gotta run to Potts Camp Sunday to meet a guy from Tupelo to buy an 8274 for it that I found on Pirate.
