I couldn't pass up this 6-71 blower with all new bearings, fresh turned rotors, top plate, snout, front and rear covers.
So I've started polishing on it, but although i have most of it, i still need alot to put it on my crate motor. manifold, pulleys, belt, and brackets to name a few. I know i also need a double key harmonic balancer. What else am i overlooking?

I have an 8.5:1 compression crate motor with less than 4K on it, so that should work.

I really dont know alot about these. I do already own (2) 4150 holleys i could put on it as well as bellcrank and linkage for sideways.

Are those Holleys built for a blower application?

I am addicted to the whine of a roots blower, all thanks to my dad. Here are a couple past vehicles that got me addicted, as well as our current project.

Turbos are nice but I'd rather be blown. :D

Mmmm... 6-71 sex-ay-ness.

Can't help you with specifics but I've always wanted one myself. Someday...

I've heard it as:

Injection is nice, but I'd rather be blown.....

Kinda impartial to the injection part though.

Yeah, that's an OLD version back from the days when mechanical injection was the latest and greatest thing.
Now that everybody has electronic injection, it's kind of a moot point. Hence the updated Turbo version. :D
