You were on the brakes waaaay to hard, couldn't spin the back tires, you only wanna hold enough pressure on them to keep the truck from rollin, u kinda gotta get a feel for it.

I thought so, its probaly cause i got new brakes and there alot better then the old ones, also I didn't want to explain to dad why i went through the garage and crashed.

Find the nearest telephone pole, tie off to it and have at it.:D

find a curb too tall to climb, but short enough to fit under the bumper. roll the tires up to it, then romp on the gas (in 2wd, of course).

stomp the brakes, then stomp the gas, then slowly let off the brakes, there might be a point then the tires brake loose

put it in 4lo and don't lock your hubs, works for me, its the only way i can get my truck to burn em' off. but then again, i have 3.73's and 35's with a 6.2.

I'll explain my username. When I signed up on this website I wanted a k-30. Then a few months later you guys converted me into a K5. Then i Graduated Highschool I recieved the old family truck. So now im going to be shopping for a k5 in the future.

You can poor Bleach on the ground and it will smoke the tires like no other. If you had a 4wd and enough bleach you could light up all 4.

NO NO NO, none of this curb telegraph pole business.

What you need is a bottle of bleach and biggest NOS plate you can find

*High Five!*

You could also spray armor all on the thread of ur tires, but thats kind of dangerous to drive with it on there.:haha:

sounds like someone needs some hot rod parts:D

when I first got my 84 I put 33s on it with the 3.08s and it would barely pull itself. put in a crate motor and it would bark em just a little. added a cam, intake, headers and upgraded the ignition and when I would use the brakes it wouldnt go anywhere, just sat there and smoked the tires or should I say tire, open rearends suck.

then I added 3.73s, 35s and a locker and back to not being able to bark them. my solution, bigger heads and a bigger cam coming soon.:D

Mine will smoke both rear tires with stock 350 700r 4.10 and 33. when i had 3.08 it would only bark them if I was the only one in the truck or it would do it with 3 people in it but I had to have the top off:haha:

o You could always take the top off:haha:

Hmm my k5 with 37 inch super swampers and 3.73 will lite them up every time..:D

350ho crate motor (with a few mods ;))
sm465
14bltff 3.73

Never tried to power brake tho..don't think i'm tallented enough to work all three pedals..I just stand on the gas..

thats how my first motor was. smoked like a freight train and used a quart of oil everytime I drove it unless it was a long trip and then I would have to stop and add a little on the way.

the summer that I got my new motor on the last day of school I had to drive it to my dads house which was an hour and half away (or 2 quarts of oil, however you wanna look at it.) already had the new motor at his house but I was low on cash and my truck needed oil. since the motor was gonna get trashed I dumped in a quart and a half of used oil.:eek1: by the time I had got to his house my oil pressure gauge wasnt even reading on the 10 and it had burned so much oil off that it had actually quit smoking.:D stayed parked for two weeks when we hauled it to a shop to do the swap.

All I really have to say about it is, when I want to do burnout's, I drive my Paxton supercharged Cobra, 12 psi 580 rwhp and 4.30's will get er done evertime. However when I want to tow/haul/mud/drive in snow, I drive my truck. Everything has it's place really and imo a trucks place is bein a truck. But he dont need part's or bleach, his technique sucks that's all. Once he does get his technique down, his transmission or rearend will be toast, then he won't want to do it so much anymore.
