I decided that I was going to park my truck for the winter, since it was getting torn down in the spring, I`d save myself some dough by not using it.

Well, I went to go start it up and move it over to the spot where it will stay for the rest of the winter, and it wouldn`t start. It`s been cold, so I figured maybe something in the ignition was frozen. Turned the key, and it turned over for like a millisecond, then nothing, gauge is reading nothing, but when you turn the key on and off, the peg will move like a millimeter. Since my mojave heater is wired directly to the batt, I turned it on, and it had power. So i figured maybe the batt was low enough that it wont start, but had enough juice to get the blower on the heater going. Turned my headlights on, nothing. Hooked up the jumper cables to my moms car, left em on for a few, turned the key, nothing. Any idea? I just had this running 2 days ago. I turned it on, and let it run until it got up to temp, then shut it off. It`s a little cold here in the low 30s, so I tossed an electric heater in the truck aiming at the steering column/dash for 30 min. Went back out, nothing:mad::mad:

I`m stumped, any ideas?:o

charge that battery up for a while, then try it out. Maybe bring the battery inside and hook up the charger

No power to the headlights likely means a dead battery.

How many volts at the battery? Check your cables and connections for corrosion too.

He'll have to get it to turn over before he can check the fuel pump:rolleyes:

I'd go with checking the battery voltage & connections.

Well, I`m thinking I may have left something on, enough to really drain the batt. I`m going to try hooking it up to a charger for a while, hopefully it will be enough. I don`t fell like moving this thing not under its own power:o

It's not spring yet..........:D

I'd add something useful but it's been pretty much covered. connections and battery

check starter cable connection at the starter, i've seen them corrode there just like battery end, and act like your describing, if hot battery doesn't work, this would be 1st place i checked!
