I declare war on Fords!!!

All you people that think I am disrupting this message board must have nothing better to do but write negtive responses to my post. And if you want to get rid of me thats all good, I can just login with a nother name. So just keep your negative comments to yourself, I have been. And If you were there when all that happened, with a guy so close that he's spitting in your face, cussing at you and telling you to get fu@ked I hope you would of tooken action. If not you might as well become a priest. Anyways I dont care what you people think about me, the people that have bad things to say might need some help themselves. People that take so much time to think about bad things to write about people must have personal problems that they havent delt with. If you ever come to California look me up and let me know whats bothering you friend take it easy know, John Buttman

Dude you say in your last post that people who take the time to write negitive things about people must have problems YOU wrote negitive things about this guy who is sending your butt up the river.
And I ask you this if this person were driving a chevy whould you have done what you did? If not than you need to realize that just because a person drives a ford does not mean they are not someone you whould want to call a frend.
Oh yeah you'd better go buy a laptop computer you can use in prison.

thought I was a little radical concerning SUVs, living in
the US I would really be afraid of meeting you guys on the trail.
Anyone installed a machine-gun to his truck ?

LOVE MY GREEN GIANT!!!

Alright, I've been reading this post for a bit now, and now it is time for The Boss to step in..Joke. Anyways, I see your point Buttman. If them dudes were really in your face like that, I personally would've done the same thing. I probably wouldn't chase them down like that though. But violence is not always the answer, but damn, sometimes its the only answer. A friend and I got our A$$'s kicked by 6 dudes trying to take our beer from us right outside the beer store. They just came up to us and said they were gonna take our beer, and I said no, and one dude hit me so I immediately hit the other, and that is all she wrote. One good thing to say, is that they didn't take a single beer. Anyways, my point is, don't go and look for trouble or chase trouble down, but if it comes, then take care of it, defend yourself.

I\'m in california

you chased down this guy, and when he got in your face for it, you act like he is the aggressor, and thumped him like a tough guy. now you gotta pay the price.

Re: I\'m in california

you're absolutely right, john. i hate the fact that i don't put up with a lot of bullshiit from lames who don't really have anything to say. i hate the fact that i'm well adjusted, secure in my self-worth, and have a beautiful wife. i really lose sleep over the fact that i challenge indiscretions and inequalities whenever i can.
mostly, though, i dislike hiding my insecurities behind my long hair and outrageous attitude.
thank you so much for showing me the light, john. john? hello? oh, thats right, you're leaving.

and to all of you fellow CK5'ers, i apologize for wasting disk space.

Geez guys... you know what worries me? The posts in this message that says that guys are carrying 9mm guns with them on the trail, and will take it out and threaten to use it if someone gets in thier face. Ya they are exactly the ones I want to go wheeling with my family on the same trail. That scares me lots. This is the scene I see: I drive down there 3000 miles to wheel with some guys. We are all having a good time. My wife wants to drive for a bit. She meets a truck coming towards her, she doesnt know my truck very well, so this guy has to move over far into the trees, he gets stuck, then gets an attitude and starts waving a 9mm around... no thank you. I will stay right here in Canada where its safe to drive the trails!

Thumper,
I just hope one of us are around when the buttmans of the world are in YOUR face. Someone has to be the grownup here - and some like to take unfair advantage of others. I refuse to be a victim. The sooner these thugs realize that the next person they want to brutalize may be armed, the more civil these situations become. You have no idea the background checks one has to go through in this country to LEGALLY carry a gun. Don't assume that everyone with a firearm is as unstable as buttman!!

So if the guy was driving a Toyota, then there would be a war declared on Toyota, right? The thought of pistol packing hot heads on the trail worry me. Especially after reading some of these posts. Just remember when you pull out that lil 9mm, you don't know what the other guy has, and you don't know how good of a shot he is. I'm not putting anyone down for using their PRIVELEDGE to carry a fire arm, but remember when it comes down to it, if you can't pull the trigger then know that you just f@cked up. By the way I tried some of that Valvoline Max Life w/ a little engine restore and it seemed to help. -Russell

I'm sorry but if you read the Bill of Rights you will learn that gun ownership in this country is a RIGHT. Many people who say otherwise ignore period writings that prove its intended purpose. Sorry I'm not trying to make this a pro-gun/anti-gun post as it doesn't belong here but it is hard to ignore.

Good thing i live in canada
Not everyone carries guns around while off roading.

Wow, Buttman does it again. He really knows how to get replys.

As for the situation... I say we just do what is right. There are always two choices, right and wrong. You will always know which is right. Both my neighbors are cops and they say most situations arise from things like Buttman's post. He had the right to defend himself but if he would have been level headed he wouldn't have had to defend himself.

As for the guns... It's fine to carry guns but keep them stored where they belong so you don't shoot someone or yourself and two, follow the above about choices and you probably won't be in a situation where you have to use a gun to defend yourself.

Not that this issue hasn't been run into the groundd, but I am aware that we as citens do have the RIGHT to keep and bear arms but the bill of rights doesn't give us the right to be a DUMBASS. I get sick of people saying it's their right and using it for a crutch. What about the high school kids who want to say a prayer before a football game. Why can't their exercise their RIGHT. Anyway, Toad I couldn't agree with you more. -Russell

I don't see anyone using there right as a crutch. Stupidity has nothing to do with a right, and when that right is abused it is taken away. Also any responsable person knows when they are armed they have to try their best to avoid confrontation. I don't believe a word of Buttmans story, but some one in that situation should never chase somone down looking for a fight. Armed or not. I would never let someone see that I was armed unless I had already determined deadly force was needed. Everyone else I know who carries feals the same way. So I'm not sure who the crutch users are. And yes i have used it in self defense and saved more than my own life so I guess I am short on patience for people who wish I didn't have that right.
