Ordered myself a tow rig. It's a *gulp* Ford F-350. 2005 long bed crew cab DRW 4x4 in the new dark stone color. Got the 6 speed and manual transfer case, but loaded other than that, moonroof, leather, all that fun stuff.:D Now the waiting begins for it to be built and delivered...

Good choice, I highly doubt you will have any problems with the 6.0 and with the Ford you don't have to mess with IFS. :D You will really enjoy the loaded interior, especially the leather seats.

I hope that I don't regret the DRW option... If I ever get a slide-in camper I'll appreciate it, but other than that it's gonna be hard to park that bubble-butted bitch. Supposed to be 6-8 weeks, some people wait less than 5, others over 10, so I dunno for sure...

hahah bubble-butted hahaha I too had thoes thoughts, but like you said now you can get a fully loaded slide in were I must go with a lighter one. I'm sure you will get use to it in time:D

I don't think you will regret the DRW choice. You hardly notice it after a month. And the extra stability when towing is very noticeable. After owning two F350 SRWs and then buying a new 3500 DRW, I don't think I'll ever go back to the SRW.
