I efed up major!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

I'm sure nobody on here has done this but I hope some has so I know what to do. I was installing my B&M shift kit in my TH400 tonight and I was removing the pressure valve and the snap ring popped off the pliers and fell into the transmission. (Transmission is upside down on my floor) I finished putting in the kit and now I can't seem to find the snap ring. I tried to get it out by finishing the install and then turning tranny over and shaking it and hitting the case with a rubber mallet but it never fell out. I tried sticking a magnet down where it fell...nothing. I yelled "marco" but no "polo" was returned. I don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP!

pull the pump out of the trans and the input shaft you should be able to find the snap ring then

The pump is the thing on the front... big and round...
Undo the 6 ?? bolts, and rock it forward... the middle shaft is fixed.. the outer one around the other one comes out with the pump

I just replaced mine!

Thanks guys that was my next step. I took some more turns shaking her and beating her and flipping her and inspecting her with mirrors and flash lights (repeat 5 times) and I finaly got it out with a coat hanger! Thanks for the help. Sounded kinda dirty! Now I gotta figure out how to get ATF off my computer. LOL!
