Alright,
I've tried researching this and asking many people what this is by describing it to them and many have had no answer. Here are the pictures:

What kind of locker is this? I know it's a locker and I've bought two 14FF(1. 1 ton and 1. 3/4 ton) and they both have it. Please help Thanks!

Looks like a gov lock. Open carrier is 4 pinion, that one looks like 3 pinion which is the identifier for a Gov-lock.

SO even an open carrier looks like that? Is there any other way to tell what it is? How do I open it, It doesn't seem to open.

The open carrier looks mostly the same, but it has 4 pinions between the two half's of the carrier whereas the Gov-lock only has three. To split the carrier you have to unbolt the ring gear...

Can I change this to a detriot? OR do I have to get a completely different carrier?

The Detroit only fits in the open carrier. If you want a Detroit you'll have to swap in an open carrier first.
