What is the soleniod on the quadrajet that ups the idle when the a/c is turned on. Name, Part#, I need the bracket also..........

Well... It has been identified with several descriptions. Idle Load Compensator, A/C Idle Solenoid, Solenoid and Bracket, Idle Compensator Assembly. If you go to your favorite Parts Store with the numbers stamped on the side of your Quadrajet OR the Make/Model of the vehicle the Quadrajet is installed on... you can purchase a new solenoid w/bracket for your carb.
