Is the last pic where your at now? I love shoooort bed CC`s.

No I dont have an overall pic of it right now its in more pieces than ever lol.
Its basically a cab frame and axles right now.
I did have a dodge with a cummins to swap in but that deal fell through. Got another possibility but im not holding my breath.

Cool truck ,gathering ideas before i start to cut mine up.You see any problems with the spring hanger in the old axle hoop on the fram. I see most cut and section the frame.

Is that a 61' C-10 in the background?

That one is my cousins 60 c-10 long bed. Its got a quick as hell 327 in it but it takes an hour to shift so it kills your speed.

sweet man. also looks like a 69-72 goldish yellow truck

Yes its a 71 k10 long bed cheyanne mechanical its practically new and the body aint in that bad of shape either. (at least for a UTAH truck.)
The color is called ochre, But I like to call it baby shat yeller.

I built in some lift moving the hangers plus the 4" block I guess it has around 8-10 inches of lift. I dont really have a way to compair it to another truck since the frame is straight above the axle and no wheel wells to measure from. I plan to add bump stops right to the bottom of the frame, but I doubt it will flex that far anyway.

I love backyard builds :D

It dont get any more back yard than this! HAHA!

Heres a pic of it mostly together before I tore it appart more. It ran and could have drove if it had a driveline and a drag link in this pic.
