I feel sorry for my truck

this is getting agrivating.. I need to learn to drive.. the windows on these trucks must be like eggshells. last night I hit the second lowlying tree limb in 2 weeks.. any ideas on GHETTO rigging it untill I can get a new windshield? how much can I get a new windshield for? Do they make CK windshields in bullet-proof glass ?
I may just apply some duct tape and glue and run with it

this is the company that makes the lexan windows with the coating that allows them to be used like normal i.e. wipers, glass cleaner, no pitting from debris in air...but unbreakable.

very expensive though

weld some little guard bars on the edge of the windshield. like the shape that transport trucks use for grab bars ont he side of the cabs. but you'll be using them for guards for your windshields. that don't have to protect the whole windshield, just take the first hit of the branch so your windshield doesn't.
