I really like it.

After my little situation the other day and the trailer saving my ass, a trailer is looking better and better.

I just hope that if I do get one, I don't do a Steve Fox and end up with the tow rig on the trailer, and the trail truck pulling that whole mess home. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

How are you going to fit a camper and a K5 on it? I assume the camper is pretty small.... /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

That trailer is really long. A slide in camper is only 12" long max.

Ya, and if the Blazer doesn't quite fit on the trailer with the camper Rob will just smash it into more rocks till it does /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif Or go to town with the sawzall. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

A 12' camper would only leave 13' of trailer including the dovetail for a K5.... :thinking...but I guess you would use a 8' camper for that.... /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I'm thinking the cabover of the camper is supposed to go over the gooseneck, so depending on how much rear overhang the camper had...

I contemplated putting a Chalet into a pickup bed... maybe towing it behind another Chalet...

The camper is going to fit tight to the gooseneck it's 8' long, and cabover the gooseneck. The blazer will then pull right up next to the camper, and some of the rear wheels will be just off the back of the flatbed and onto the dovetail. The ramps will not go all the way back down on the dovetail when the camper get's added.

I had the blazer on the trailer today, and measured out where the camper will fit. It will fit just right on the back. Most of the weight will be just a little in front of the front tire on the trailer. It's going to be a tight fit, but it should be fine. The trailer is way overrated for what I am towing. My blazer 6000 lbs, my camper 2500 lbs loaded with water and all gear, the gross weight of the trailer is 3500lbs, that's 12000 lbs total weight with trailer and all the stuff. Hell the trailer is rated for 24K. I dont' think it's going to be a problem.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments!!!!

Man I swear, all the good deals are out West. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Sweet deal man. I paid a tad less for a 10K gvw bumper pull. Congrats! /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif

I saw some Camper plans the other day that had a 10 or 11' model that had the rear door on the curb side. Something along those lines would be great in this application. You could park right up to the back of the camper and still have access to the interior. It would diminish the "Look at my X' Patio outside my camper" effect though.
