I finnished my anti-wrap bar

I was able to see this axle wrap bar work in person yesterday at browns camp. the bar worked awsome and sure didnt limit any flex. Are those threaded heims so you can replace them if they wear out. Im also interested in having you build me one /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

Wheelin pics- click here Thank you for all the help with my questions. That helped a bunch. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Hmmm... If you and shannon would want one I am seriousely going to have to think about it. The ends are threaded and they are long. Prolly close to 5-6 inches of thread.

That looks great! My only question is can you bring the lower mount up where it comes straight forward off the axle so you dont lose the ground clearance?

Nice setup, I only have one question with bars like that, isn't it putting all the stress on the joint between the tube and the housing? Seems it would be a matter of time before you twist the tube in the housing. Of course it depends on engine/gears/tires/tranny etc., but still...

That what I though was pretty sweet about the A-tron (Az kickin?) bar, it put the torque all through the diff housing.

Theres just as much force on the tube/housing as without the bar. The rotational force is always there, whether stopped by your springs or a bar.

I think what he meant was that the resistance form was being placed against the axles tuves versus the diff housing. Regardlessly it looks great/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

<font color="blue">Looks good, but are you sure thats going to be enough vertical seperation at the axle? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

So diving around today I noticed a lot of Locker walk (thats what I call when your locker engages and the rear end shifts) Way more so than usual. Would the bar cause this is its 1/8" off from square? Or is this a common thing from just doing the 57" spring swap? I also lost a rear shock today. #2 that the welds broke clean off of the axle tube, but it wasn't me that welded them.

Should be. There is about 6", which is about the same as you would get out of a lot of bars that mount to the front and back of the differentials.

Well, right, except now the force is entirely on the one tube and the one joint, instead of spread between both tubes and both joints as it would be with the springs...
