I flopped the Burb last night. Some videos are up now.

Going on a night run tonight. Not enough time to replace window.

Lots of duct tape.

WOW!!!!! Thats a pretty brutal flop. Now what?? Plans?

Plans are to get the bottom of the window frame pushed out and straightened enough to get a new widow in. If not, some kind of plexy glass. I cant roll up the front passenger window either. The frame is bent. That is first prioity. The part behind the vent window, the track is bent. Window only goes half way up. Need to hammer and bend it back so i can get the window up.

In order to open the back door, I need to open the front one first. Damm boulders. 4 boulders caused all of this.

Pics.

I take that as Blazer widow is the same as a Suburban? Dont think a window will fit in the frame again. Might have to go the plexyglass route.

What I meant to say is I have a suburban set of windows. It'll head to the crusher at some point in time.

Here is a couple videos of me before losing my balance. I had rushed making it to this, so my hydro assist was not on. And my power steering fluid was low. Just found that out. That's why the whining sounds.

For some reason, I don't know why, I can't see from this link.

fullvert burb in the future:whistle:

jeff i would like to be the first to welcome you to the downward spiral. I know you have been flirting with it lately but you are fully on it now. :waytogo::waytogo::waytogo:

May the end come quickly, and may your sawzall be blessed with swiftness

another vote for burbalanche.

yes!!!!! thats the plan for mine, if i ever put an engine back in it, lol!

Cut out the inner wall. BFH the outter fender from the inside so it's some what straight again then weld in the inner wall again. can't really do anything worse to it than whatcha already got. get the kiddo involved they love wailing on **** with a hammer.

Thats the plan.

I have a run comming up soon and am trying to get everything back to working order. I don't have the time to fix the back window yet. Front passenger door won't lock, but don't really care. Got a new mirror on and an now able to get the winow to function.

Added a gallon of tranny fluid and a quart of oil and a quart of power steering fluid. I'm having major problems with the steering. It won't turn when the tires are on the ground. Works good on jack stands though. I cannot get it to turn to lock on either side. Maybe it's the king pin bushings. Everything looks good visually, but something is wrong.

I can't see the kingpin bushings affecting steering like that. I also can't turn lock to lock anymore since installing the ram. The 8" stroke isn't enough, but it still has a good turning radius. I just need to adjust my stops.

Are you leaking steering fluid or was that from the tip over? Maybe you are loosing pressure or taking on air in the lines from the leak. Dunno man, sorry to hear you haven't gotten the steering down yet.

It would turn lock to lock with the assist and with just the stabilizer. Something is going to get repaired or fixed or replaced though. I will see you in Gorman. Don't laugh at my white trash duct tape window!!!

Maybe air in the lines :dunno: I cant really see how a flop would affect the steering in such a way to make it not steer anymore, but then again, the bumper sticker that says "sh*t happens" was invented for a reason... And you can thank Forrest Gump for that... Anyways Iv always loved this truck, and I finally painted mine so it would look similar to it from 20ft in the streetlight at night with your beer goggles on, so its sad for me to see it all smashed up, but its all part of the game.
