I would cut it out and either bend peices to fit the ribs in the rear (which would be a pain). Or buy a panel of it from lmc or something that you can cut to match and weld in. Up front just cut it all out and replace with some steal from a hardware or tsc.

:grind::weld::hack: Then a little bit of this:angry1::flipoff1::flipoff5:then when your done and its either fixed:whistle:Or sitting on 42's with Large fender openings, narrowed front and rear, and resembleing a truggy:rolleyes:

You can do this:flipoff10::flipoff3::woot::woot::woot::D:thumb::saweet:

LOL..thanks bud. :haha: I think im just gonna buy all new floor pans and replace my rusting ones.

I think classic parts has just a small section you can buy and cut up instead of buying all thos pricy replacement panels

WOW....Why did i not know about classicparts.com alot sooner? Man, and to think all the money i have been wasting at LMC, and not to mention the headaches. They do not have a small pieces, but they are cheaper. And if im gonna do it, i might as well go all in. Thanks Deuling.

I like them. Seem to have alot of good stuff. Make sure to sandblast, prime and paint every nook and cranny, especially where water can sit and eat stuff out. If your welding stuff, look at SEM's copper weld. Its a weldable primer, i used it on the underside of all my panels for replacement so that they have some protection underneath, especially on parts i cant get paint on from underneath.

Check my build thread, lots of patching going on around post 400-500 post count i think

Once the new panles are in I planed on taking it down to the bar metal, hitting it with 40 grit, then line-x the floor. I also plan to re-undercoat the bottom.

The Tailpan will almost certainly be junk too and as you remove the spotwelds you'll find that out.
