I wanted to get out and let the truck run so I've been driving it all week. I completely forgot that when I parked it last time the drivers seat was clicking and moving like I had broke a mounting bolt or two. I didn't give it a second thought and figured I fix it when I had some. So I go to find the source and come to find the whole seat bracket has broke through the floor.:eek1: The floor is in perfect shape and has ZERO rust....it just flat out broke through it. So now I get to pull the seats and all the interior and fix about a 5in hole in my floor and all the cracks coming off of it.

I Had A Noise Coming From My Seat Also, But I Figured It To Be My Lunch.

My blazer was doing that doo. I welded a washer on the underside and the top side and forgot about it.

the outer rear foot of my drivers seat did the same thing. I had to fix it about 2 weeks ago. A small crack had turned into a major blowout of about a 3" round piece of floor. I welded a fender washer to a piece or 8"x8" 20ga plate and pop riveted it to the floor in about 8 spots. Hopefully it will hold. Now that I dont have any carpet though I will know when it fails this time.

Mine was welded once but it didnt hold. I really didnt want to tear the floor boards out so I cheaped out, used some heavy duty 4" angle brackets, trimmed to fit, paint to match and its been working great for the past 4 years :haha:
