I get the opportunity to go to Top Truck Challenge

Haven't been on here in a while. Figured I'd share that I get to partake in a cool opportunity. We are leaving tonight for Top Truck Challenge. No, one of my junkers is not entered in it, but a friends VW Rabbit pickup built on a K5 frame is. It's come a long ways since it was a K5 Blazer. I get to be pit crew and see first hand what the Top Truck Challenge is all about. Should be a neat experience.

Thanks! yeah and I'm honored to have such an opportunity to go, should be a good time. We have a trailer full of tools and spare parts, so I'm sure there won't be a dull moment.

I actually got rid of 5 or 6 Dana 60's in the last couple months.... I know, I must be sick because that just doesn't seem right. But on the plus side got me some bigger tires for my Crew Cab.

I think the 60 count is down to 21 or 22 now. I'm feeling like I have to restock.

It was a good time and met some good people.

We placed 2nd overall in the competition, due to getting crossed up in the frame twister and going out of bounds and tipping over in the tank trap with the snorkel going under water and battery dying.
