allright, a couple weeks ago i lost either the pump, or the converter, or maybe both in my th400
the blazer is at a friends house and we are ready to pull the trans as soon as we get a sunny weekend.
my question is as follows: should i
1) pull the trans and send it home to have a buddy's shop do the work for the cost of parts (shipping is around 300 for both ways)
2) pull the trans and let a local shop do it
3) i guess there are more options like letting a shop do it all for me and the like
which of these options would be the cheapest
anyone with access to book rates knowledge of how badly californian shops want to screw me and the like would be most helpful
