i just put a ORD 4" shackle flip on with 4" DIY4X usdr shackles on.
while i was at it i took out 3 leafs on each side (was 9 now 6 per side) and now the rear is slightly lower than the front so my question is what is the best option for getting this back in the air?

BTW eventually i want to raise it alittle more but not untill i have tires and more funds ofcourse!:thumb: Thanks guys, Adam.

longer shackles like 6" long or 1" zero rate block . zero rate fast n cheeper than shackles.

longer shackles give more flex tho.

put one leaf back in each side maybe.:dunno: lot of work though.

well the big point is the longer the shackle is the more it will push the pinion up on the axle. so yes watching the length to working angles of the pinion is a must.

but my question is what does the length hurt if any to the flex of the springs ?

and you got more than needed on ubolt length to add a zero rate.

yea k30 that why i didnt cut the ubolts yet.. i may just throw 6" shackles and zero rates under there and have it slightly raked till i get the front end up to speed again

why not put the leaves back in? That is the way it was before right?
But that leave pack doesn't appear to be missing any lol

If you have plans down the road, why buy all that stuff you may never use again.
Are those 56's or 52's in the rear?

if you go back and reread. its his k30 truck = 56" leafs rear and 9 leaf 1ton packs with 3 out for better ride not as stiff.

yep u got it! its NO FUN at all trying to go through rutted out and tree root infested trails with 1 ton suspension. :doah:

and k85 octane.. il be using everything over again except the 4" shackles i just had power coated haha

I would put at least one leaf back in! Each leaf is designed to do something different. This is why the leafs are all different lengths for spring rates.......

What you've done is mess with how the leaf pack is designed to work as a whole. Find some 3/4 or 1/2 ton rears or put 1 back in at a time until you find the right setup! :doah:
