I got an engine lifting plate from Summit and...

...need to run to the hardware store to get some bolts and washers to fasten it to the intake.

What size bolts do I get? How deep do the threads go down in the BBC and SBC intakes?

Its cool today so I'm not heading out to the shop. Just wanted to ask here instead.

Oh yeah, this is the plate that fastens in place of the carb.

Depending on how thick the pull plate is will determine the length of bolts required. I'm going to guess the plate thickness is probably .250 so i would get a 5/6" x 1" bolt

Yes, 5/16"-18 is what the intake manifold is.

i got mine from him and modifyed it to also do tbi bolt pattern stuff.

God i must be tired, i couldn't for the LIFE of me figure out that typo. 5/16" makes perfect sense.

guess I should put this up on the website seperately as well as the fuel pump block off plates. Both common for seperate purchase.
