Picked up a project trailer from a friend of mine the other day. It's a 19' steel deck that his dad bought new in 1996. Right now it needs to be rewired and needs ramps but really solid otherwise. My plans are is to rewire and acquire new ramps to get it usable first. Plans are to update to LED lights add surface mount anchor points, a winch, repair fenders. I've had a thought about adding a removable platform to mount an overlander type rooftop tent that the vehicle nose can fit under.

I like the roof top tent frame that is also a wind block/stone guard idea. Looks like a good trailer.

See, if your going to use it to haul 4x toys, just drive on and off without ramps.
Then, if anyone asks if you can haul their crap..... "Uh, nah, I ain't got any ramps man :dunno:". :waytogo:

Only thing with this is flat ground . Block wheels and put some cribbing blocks under the tail of the trailer so you dont pick up the back of tow vehicle and go for a ride . And also less stress on the back end of the trailer .

I have 5k flip up jacks on either side of the rear on my trailer. Just to prevent that.
Because my ramps hook on the back of the trailer and don't stop that from happening.

Like these so I can pull em off if I want also.
