That was fun I must say even with 3.08 gears. :D I had almost forgotten how fun it was to plow through the mud. Course I need to change some things but it was a dam good time. I did have a oh crap moment though, kinda hurt when I slammed into the steering wheel.

This was by far the best picture allthough I wanted to get the moon into focus better and we did end up going down the embankment. I'm on the right and my buddy in his 4runner on the left.

So 3.08 gears 31" tires no lift and worn out shocks proved to be very fun. Its going to royally suck cleaning it but afterwards I plan on going back out and try to get some good pics going through some of the mud pits and hills during daylight hours. I hope I don't break anything but I must say I'm impressed with how its setup. First time wheeling a diesel.

Good idea to wheel with a seat belt on my friend... :doah:

The 6.2 actually does pretty good off road. With a governed top rpm of 3600 it seems to have no big issues in mud, and best of all no stalling issues! I had a SM 465 behind a 6.2 and I absolutely loved it off road. It made wheeling 'elegantly' so easy.

Where did you find mud in Pueblo? Did you get a lot of rain the past few days?

We haven't had rain for a few days now but there are some mud holes out in PMI if you know where to look. :D

I think the sprinkler trick is going to be a must on this one. It's caked on there pretty good. Either that or wait till its hard and take a rubber mallet to it.

Usually I do wheel with the seat belt but I was feeling a bit daredevilish so I left it off for the most part.

Wheeling with the diesel was actually fun and the stall really helped out when climbing the hills. Basically it idled up the hills. 4high seemed a bit weak but 4low was fantastic.
