I have my first set of (street) boggers on my truck now...havnt driven the truck in about 3 weeks...man i thought the truck was gonna fall apart as sooon as it hit asphalt..took a lil while for the tires to run in but after that the same as usuall...no real reason for this thread...just to vent about flat spots!!

def. wheeling wise but i just cant stand mine on the road. its not the noise, they are just too damn wide and they suck mpg like its their job

havnt driven my truck enough to check gas milage yet...btw why are you complaining about gas mileage your turning 39s...duh

When it sits put 30 pounds in them. My AT's get flat spots when I park it with less than 20 lbs of air in them. They are fine at 30.

mine have 30 in them now..i need to run them with less cause boggers wear bad in the centers with 30 psi...no matter what you do you will get flat spots with just about any bias ply tire...

I had a girlfriend once that had no tread lugs on her chest, just flat spots, yea flat spots suck. :D :haha:

I wouldn't say "no matter what you do". You could always put it on jackstands when you park it for 3 weeks at a time.

im not complaining cuz the 39, but boggers are a ton heavier and wider than all the other tires in addition to my 4.10s, it doesnt work out well. the push pull steering makes u-turns impossible with such a wide tire

rotate the tires when you can, the ones on my truck are pretty much done in the front, but the rears still have good tread. i guess that would mean running reverse pattern every other time, but if they will last an extra 5k miles then its worth it.

as for 30psi, i think that might be a little bit high. i know with my iroks i ran 23psi and that seemed to be the best for tire wear. id try maybe 25psi or something.

true...but my MT Baja Claws are Bias Ply and I don't have any problems...its sat for two weeks before and I didn't have noticible flat spots when I drove it the next time...

Yeah I threw my 38.5 Boggers on, put about 20 miles on em and then let the truck sit for like 3-4 months. I was going about 20 mph the first time I drove it. I think the tires were coming off the ground:haha:

If it's real bad I like to drive in a circle a couple of times. It seems like it's not as severe of a ride if the flat spots are hitting the road at different times.
