I hate mud

Never liked mud
Deep water I love
So if we are talking about letting go off the things we love... I hate doing wheel bearings. So I no longer search out water :(
Hahaha

I was thinking about this the other day, if you put some air pressure in the hub that it keep out the water, wy2w

My dad had rubber boots on his boat trailer hubs. A hand held squeeze bulb would pump them up before backing it into the water. Never had bearing issues.

Used to own a Toyota. Those guys are weird.

My blazer was previously a mud truck. After years of that, it's rusted to shit in a lot of places.

Isn't that why they have DIY car washes? Leave the mud there after a run so it doesn't cover your driveway? Leaving mud to dry on a truck is like wanting to live in the rust belt. Just asking for the rot! Do yourself a favor, clean it off before you go home to do maintenance.

I had a 77 K2500 that was "mudded" before I got it--36" Dick Cepek tires,454/TH350,and it was plastered with mud everywhere..

I tried every detergent known to mankind, pressure washers, car washes, nothing would get the mud off that dried on the undersides & firewall, and it remained firmly intact until I junked it about 13 years later...it was like hardened concrete!..
Some "mud" I got on it at the town landfill was very corrosive,it rotted thru the inner fenders in no time and was just as tough as concrete once it dried--had to bash it with a hammer to get most of it off..

diesel4me, all of a sudden I'm glad I live in Ohio! (And you won't hear that very often!) :haha:

Everything down here is clay and that stuff is nothing but concrete when it dries. You've gotta chisel it out.
