I hate these but....... what is it worth

I think it's sold already.

I think it's sold already.

You better be sure it's sold!!!!!!!

Insider trading?

Rick and I have been talking about this for a while. Blew my mind how much interest I had so even though it's not a for sale thread. It's sold. Just this and Facebook and Rick and I finally got down to brass tacks

Just checked and money's in the bank :waytogo:

I showed Chrissie the pictures and all she said was "looks like a lot of work.". I smiled and said "yep".

Lol. Not as bad as anything you would have found out there lol

No.. but I dont want one I don't have to work on lol... I just dint want to pay $4k and still have to find a whole new body lol

What i don't understand is why running, rust free (or low rust) crew cabs with big blocks are so cheap?

Could it be due to the low mpg?

Around my place they aren't cheap... Rust bucket basket cases are 5k.

There's more than a few on there within 200 miles that are beat up, dented, rusty ones for 4-5k.

I was actually surprised at how much body rust it has. I shouldn't be able to see though the door sills on a Wyoming truck, eh?

I was looking back through the pics cause I had no idea what you were talking about. Then I saw it

That's just rust on top. It's actually pretty solid. Just really bad looking surface rust. I could see how you would think that was rusted all the way through

I was actually looking at the left side of this one, combined with the peeling bondo on the door. Maybe yours is fine out there, but it's hard for me to imagine loose bondo without having it collect salt and rust out the metal underneath.

Yah it's pretty solid there too, the rockers themselves have a couple holes. The cracked Bondo makes it look pretty bad but as far as rust goes it seems light years ahead of what you guys have.

I was gonna rebondo some stuff and throw a cheapie paint job on it, wouldn't take much to make this truck look pretty nice

I'll patch it up and concentrate on mechanicals for a while... Then probably look for a good body. This truck will be built as a NICE CCSB driver. So the less cutting and body work I do on the final, the better.

Im actually kicking around an idea now of getting a good cab for this, and swapping the cab it has on to the Rumble bee chassis...... It'd solve my back seat need, and my desire for enclosure to keep mud and sand etc off of Kaz.
