I admit that I dislike wiring more than any aspect of working on vehicles. So I had this truck since I was a teenager and now I'm trying to get it working for my teenage son.

So this cab is I believe about an 84ish, silverado trim air conditioning but the ac isn't hooked up nor will it be by me.

Would anyone know what these wires and relay are?

I forgot this also. What would this plug on the firewall be for? It looks like a tail lights plug? But my tail lights work?

Also anyone know what this is?

That's all AC stuff, except for that last gizmo - don't know what it's for. The rubber plug with two rubber fingers sticking out goes to the pressure cycling switch that mounts on the receiver/dryer. Obviously you're missing the receiver dryer and it looks like you'll need a new evaporator core to connect one (or cut it off and splice a repair with compression fittings?). The 2-pin connector with the terminals ripped out goes to the compressor clutch. I believe the relay is for cycling the clutch, but earlier models powered the clutch directly from the cycling switch.

Can't see any plug on the firewall - maybe the wrong picture?

Bear with me I don't post very often and don't know how to edit my posts when I screw up. Heres the pict of the plug on the fire wall20230422_123543.jpg20230422_123552.jpg

That's what I was think but wasn't sure

That firewall plug is for the tailgate power window harness.

I should of given more info, this is a k30 pickup truck cab, so no power tailgate window. Or did the trucks get it and just not use it?

I didn't use anything out of the bulk head harness save for my fuel tank sending unit, starter (purple) pink for ignition, red for power.

Hmm, not sure then. Maybe fuel tank selector?
