I am getting a Crossover/Highsteer setup but the drag link bolts to the pitman are with a 1-ton TRE and my pitman arm is drilled out for a 3/4" Heim. Where could I get a bushing that I can weld in to take up the slack in the pitman arm?

A brand new dropped pitman arm, for a 2-wheel drive steering box, is included with the cross-over steering kit. I think this may answer your question, if I understood it correctly.

You should just get the proper pitman arm.

Cobbled-together steering is bad news and can not only be dangerous, it will likely get you laughed at around here.
