I have an 84 K5 (NP208), can my stock driveshaft attatch to an NP241C?

I just bought an NP241C from a 90K5 (with VSS) for my TBI upgrade. Will my rear shaft bolt up to it, it doesn't look like it will, or am I just retarded?

I am not sure about the length of both t/cases but the output shaft is the same spline and diameter so the slip yoke will fit. I have however been told that the NP241/241c can replace the 208.
