I dent stuff. So the cool swinging bedsides that I have on my new truck
narrowed

are going to go away. First run out with them narrowed I put several new dents in the truck 2 because I don't have my sliders done yet, but the others just cause the bedsides were there.

So the solution is to make them full width and totally removable. The rest of the truck will get an exo cage (I tried to figure out an interior cage I will hit my head on it) and then the bedsides will have tubes that they will slide onto to drive down the road or for mild trail rides or camping. I will incorparate shelves into them for more load carrying when camping. I will post pics of this later this week when I plan on doing it

Don't forget to attach a hydraulic ram to the bedsides to move them automatically..... an inclinometer can be used as a triggering mechanism, so that when you are wheeling (and leaning hard to one side) the ram will automatically pull-in the fender on the low side to protect it.

:waytogo:

Could you just learn to NOT hit stuff? :D That would be my solution, but then again, I havent wheeled in over a year.

That's seriously one of the coolest idea's I've heard in a while :D

I actually had a system worked out Greg to swing them in and out automatically, but like I said, I just can't seem to not dent stuff up to much and those bedsides are just out there. The trails we have here are tight. You need to be narrow and be able to turn sharp something that is :haha: in a truck with 42s

The more hardcore rigs only seem to last about 5 years out here if you wheel at all. After that its a new rig or more tubing.

I tried to be careful but I like to try stuff in fact I told myself I would be nice with this truck until I at least got a paint job on it. that didn't last :doah:
