I just talked to Brian yesterday...
to see what's up with my order...
They said they are waiting for the c-clips..
and they may see them next week..
the week before..they said they had everything but the gears..

I'm starting to regret ordering from these guys..
especially sense there story is constantly changing..
They tell me it's the manufacture!!!

I work in manufactuing...I really don't buy the BS...

If you order flanges from these guys...
Be prepared to wait!!! /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

I also asked Dave about the D70 stub lenght issues..
He said...he had problems with the stub hitting the cover...at first...
but he's made mods to the cover..so it won't hit.. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Re: I just bought D60 35 spline drive flanges

The only thing I don't like about their flanges - what happens when you need to pull the flange and still wheel? Like in the event you break an axle and need to get to a better spot to change it? The outer cap does not have a retaining ring to hold it in place when the drive flange is removed.

Re: I just bought D60 35 spline drive flanges

You have a very good point. I had to drive out with slug removed not long ago. The Warns have the ring that still holds the cap in place to seal the hub...

this problem has been brought up to them a lot before and they are working on it.

I would just carry some spare rags and duct tape to cover up the hole /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I know what you mean about the needing to get to another spot. Perhaps just stop and pull the slug, use duct tape to hold the cap on.

I have seen several shafts that have only had the U joint break but while getting to a good spot to change the shafts out the ears and broken U joint parts took out everything that was remaining.
