Hey everybody, I finally got a blazer after many months of looking! It is awesome. It's a 1989 K5 with a six inch lift with 35's on it. The day i got it home, i ripped the interior out and am in the process of replacing it. I have installed a killer audio system in it. The system pounds very hard. I am thinking of getting a cowl hood, and a fresh paint job, there are a few scratches in the paint that are kinda rusted. Also the hood paint is chipping.

The fiberglass cowl induction hoods look cool. How about posting some pics of the new ride. Is it gonna stay white, or do you have plans on a paint skeem ??

Are those BFG ALL TERRAINS? I would get rid of those soon if you plan on doing much off road action. If I was looking to get new tires for the '84 (my offroader) I would go with the BFG TRAIL. There great for everything. I actuallly have them on my '84 up front and 2 desert dogs on the back but I am gonna get new TRAILS and use the 1 good desert dog as a spare. If you doo plan on getting rid of the all terrains LET ME KNOW FIRST!! I would like to be first in line to through them on my '85.

Are those the qlogics that are special made for blazer and same year trucks or are they the universal's and how much did you pay for them

yes, they are for 89-91 i believe, but have all years, and i had to shell out $150 (a lot for speaker holders)

Ya have any problems with the ebrake? It looks like your heel would crush your speaker.
